The Real Housewives of Miami Finally Debuts

The Real Housewives of Miami has just debuted but there doesn't seem to be anything much happening. Does this surprise anyone? Has reality television gone too far? Who would really be interesting in a show of this nature? The South Beach show is not quite as hot and sizzling as it was expected to be. Cougars galore, all the women who claim to be anti-plastic surgery on the show are probably the ones who have had liposuction done! It is better to just tell the truth.
To Miami Next
After the successful run of The Real Housewives of New York City where the storyline was as hot as the women, much was expected out of this show. Housewife Larsa Pippen puts in a little distraction and oomph to an otherwise insipid and mundane show.  will probably be one of the first things on your mind when you watch the show or perhaps, the word ought to be plastic. On the show, Larsa is considered to be different from all the other cougars as she prefers to spend time with her family of four kids and former NBA star Scottie Pippen who is her husband.
Another Character
The Lebanese Assyrian bombshell sure presents some eye candy. Marysol Patton is another character on the show that is trying very hard to compete with the likes of Larsa. She very coolly states that she is entirely anti-plastic surgery at least "until it gets really really bad." What will constitute really bad for her is anyone's guess. It will probably be her agent or closest friend who one day whispers in her ear.
Never Know
The Real Housewives of Miami will be onscreen every Tuesday. Though their first show ratings were not all that great, it still remains to be seen if people will continue to watch all the liposuction denying real housewives in the weeks to come. One never knows, all sorts of strange reality shows are popular nowadays.

Wildlife Documentaries Continue To Captivate Audiences Worldwide

Wildlife documentaries have taken people into the homes of animals, plants and other non-human living creatures for years. It is a way to see life in the wilderness up-close and personal. There is nothing more extreme, breathtaking, and intricate than a film that explores the world we live in and the creatures that make it up.
Typically these forms of documentaries are made for television with most airing on public broadcasting channels. However, there are the rare few that are made for the cinema and awe audiences worldwide.
Television documentaries began on BBC television with a long-running series entitled Look. The first 50-minute weekly documentary series was The World About Us, which started with a color installment from a French film-maker Haroun Tazieff that was called Volcano.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s there were several television companies around the world that began specializing in the natural history department including the likes of ABC in Melbourne and Australia.
Wildlife documentaries feature a wide array of topics with varying series' and programs. Everything from different species to the ecosystem to scientific ideas like evolution has been touched on. And while most take the scientific and educational route, others find a unique way to create an alluring and stunning documentary that is mind-boggling.
There are different ways the films are presented, although most feature a human presenter. Explanatory voiceovers are most common, but extensive interaction and confrontations with animals have become increasingly popular over the years.
Some of the most famous documentary makers and presenters include Bernhard Grzimek, David Attenborough, Richard Brock, Jeff Corwin, Marty Stouffer and Steve Irwin. As mentioned, most films are made for TV. But some of the full-length cinematic presentations that have captivated audiences include Animals Are Beautiful People, The Living Desert, Blue Planet and March of the Penguins.
The idea of being able to see different species up close and in their environment is enthralling to many. This is what has kept wildlife documentaries going for years on end. Some are even presented as television miniseries with the most notable coming from 'Life' series from BBC, which was written and presented by Sir David Attenborough. The series comprises of Life on Earth in 1979 for 13 episodes, The Living Planet in 1984 for 12 episodes, The Trials of Life in 1990 for 12 episodes and several other adaptations.
Wildlife documentaries continue to amaze audiences worldwide today. The most traditional style known as 'blue chip' programming is extremely expensive, but delivers rare images. And the production of Planet Earth marked the first series to ever be made entirely in high-definition format. This is just a sign of what is to come in the future of wildlife cinematography.

Movie Review: Arthur (2011)

The results of major plot points haven't changed, just the situations that deliver us to those memorable moments. In this way, Arthur succeeds, offering us a reminder of the poignancy and hilarity of the original 1981 film. Yet while the plot itself remains largely the same, many of the minor details and events have changed for the worse. Supporting characters have been excised, comedic meetings reduced to paltry slapstick, and clever dialogue substituted for outlandish buffoonery. Is crashing the Batmobile into a golden bull statue really the grandest scheme devisable to introduce the title character? At its best, this reimagined Arthur evokes fond remembrance of a comedy classic - at its worst it questions the necessity of remakes in the first place.
Heir to the colossal fortune of the Bach industries, Arthur Bach (Russell Brand) drifts through life with few cares, fewer responsibilities, and not a moment of sobriety. Perpetually inebriated, Arthur spends his days frivolously spending vast quantities of money and his nights participating in escalating escapades of mischievousness, all of which his devoted nanny Hobson (Helen Mirren) must mop up. When his mother Vivienne (Geraldine James) presents him with an ultimatum - marry snobbish socialite Susan Johnson (Jennifer Garner) or lose his $950 million inheritance - the spoiled playboy reluctantly gives in and agrees to matrimony. Immediately upon his reluctant proposal to the elated Susan, he finds a kindred spirit in Naomi (Greta Gerwig), a tour guide with a similar love for spontaneity and carefree fun. Now torn between his harebrained customs and the woman he's falling for, Arthur must attempt to grow up for the first time in his life.
It's difficult to judge a remake that is so similar to its predecessor. In the case of Arthur, the characters are still interesting, the story is still heartwarming, and the humor is still funny. Although the individual jokes have changed (and not all of them, either), every significant action is retained, creating very few new elements - even the dialogue is similar. Because of this, the film is incredibly derivative, repetitive, and unoriginal. 30 years hasn't been enough time for the filmmakers to develop enough alternative ideas for this remake to be worthwhile.
Arthur's toys are slightly updated, graduating to a Batmobile, a DeLorean from Back to the Future, Scooby's Mystery Machine and the Dukes of Hazzard's General Lee. He's also a more destructive drunk, and arranged wife Susan is an antagonist instead of simply boring. Ultimately, however, too much is the same: Brand attempts his own version of Dudley Moore, Mirren succeeds at playing Gielgud, and Gerwig doesn't even try to be Liza Minnelli. The love story and predicaments are identical, making the entire ordeal a distraction - seeing the same characters act out the same situations from another movie. The themes of maturing, recognizing the power of love over money, and familial independence are still present and equally enjoyably examined, as well as the involvement of tear-jerking tragedy amongst lighthearted antics. But there are no real improvements, and almost no major differences (Brand does strip down to his skivvies more than Moore ever has), resulting in an epically unnecessary venture.

'Tron: Legacy' Movie Review

Although Tron: Legacy has some great special effects, it is not as good or as groundbreaking as the original Tron. Tron: Legacy definitely has its good moments and bad moments. Jeff Bridges, who I like as an actor, gave a decent performance but had some really corny "hippie" lines throughout the movie. I suppose that fits in with the zen-like character he has become, but it still comes off as corny. Special effects did a good job digitizing Bridges to give him a younger face, but it is still pretty obvious that it is digital and not his real face. Other special effects and certain parts of the story I did enjoy, but there were definitely some flaws there.
The story begins explaining Flynn's (Bridges) disappearance shortly after the original Tron movie takes place. His son is now in his 20s and is rebellious since his Dad disappeared. He doesn't like the what has happened to his Dad's company either and has taken to pulling a yearly prank on the company. Cillian Murphy's character now runs Flynn's company. I was disappointed that he was only in the movie for about 5 minutes. I also thought it was kind of funny that Murphy would take such a small role in the movie. Anyway, Alan (Tron's "User"), who still holds a prominent position in the company, tells Sam (Flynn's son) that he somehow received a page from his Dad and urges him to check out the source, which is Flynn's old abandoned arcade. At the arcade, Sam unexpectedly gets transported to the computer world just like his father did in the first Tron. Then the fun begins.
The movie reviews for Tron: Legacy were definitely mixed. Ebert gave it 3 out of 4 stars and said, "the artificial world is wonderfully well-rendered" and the movie provides "visual excitement." However, he calls the plot a "catastrophe." Four star blog also gave it a 3 out of 4 and calls it a "blast." They also praise Jeff Bridges performance. Reelviews was less complimentary as they called it "superficial eye candy" and also said "they had 28 years and this is the best they could come up with?" Imdb.com users currently rate the movie at 7.0 out of 10. Netflix users give it a 3.8 out of 5 stars while Blockbuster users give it a 3.5 out of 5.
While I didn't think the plot was quite a "catastrophe" I definitely thought it was just average. I can see how some people wouldn't like this movie, but being a sci-fi movie fan I thought that, overall, Tron:Legacy was worth watching and was a fun movie, despite all its flaws.

Fast Five - A U-Turn For The Better

I remember seeing The Fast and The Furious (2001) at a party when it came out on DVD, and I thought to myself, "If they make this a franchise, there's a hell of a lot of money to be made." With the exception of 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), the series has held up to my expectations. Granted, I wasn't ever expecting anything high-caliber, just a fun action film about cool cars, cops, and criminals. That's what I've gotten every time, but when I saw the fourth entry in the series, I got something different - a soundly made film with a good story and solid performances. Fast & Furious (2009) marked the series moving on up from just action fodder to a legitimate franchise, and Fast Five takes it and runs. Or drives, rather.
As the film opens, right where Fast & Furious left off, Dom (Vin Diesel) is being hauled to prison for his crimes in the last film. Of course, he's escaped from prison before, and he's in the trailer for this film, so we can assume he's going to be broken out, and such is the beginning of the spectacular action that follows in the next two hours or so. Fast Five is a breath of fresh air, considering. It follows a familiar formula, set up by the last film, in that it focuses a bit more on the characters than either Tokyo Drift (2006) or 2 Fast 2 Furious. I blame the latter film on John Singleton and a rushed production, and I blame Tokyo Drift's screenplay for its flaws, but Justin Lin (the director behind the last three films) has had a solid footing in his intentions. He's made the series more character-based than might have originally been planned, and given the last two films more solid plots than they probably deserve. It's not just about the cars anymore, but about the people in them.
Having been a fan of this series since the first one, it's easy for me to feel for the characters and understand what they're talking about. They aren't talking about much, mind you, but what they're saying makes sense given the situation. The whole film revolves around a heist plot, in which the assembled team (pretty much the same from the first four films) are gathered to try and steal $100 million from a Rio kingpin named Hernan Reyes, played plainly by Joaquim de Almeida. The dialogue gets a bit breezier and far less heavy-handed as the film progresses, but I guess they just wanted to reiterate the dire spot these carjackers are in - they're being hunted on two ends: by Reyes's thug army, and by forceful federal agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), who walks away with the film from his first few lines. It's not often that films like these contain genuinely good performances, and it's not often that you'll hear someone say that The Rock gave one, but this one did and he does. His Hobbs is pure steel, but has an extremely playful undertone that makes him endlessly watchable. I almost want a movie just about him and his job.
The film makes it obvious that there will be a sixth one. As long as these films are popular, they'll be made. Series like these aren't made for the story, they're made for the money. The good news about The Fast and The Furious is that it's become more about the story, and the money just seems to keep flowing in. I'm prepared for a sixth (and the final scene after the credits completely blind-sided me with the set-up), but I hope it's the last. If they can pull off the set-up they've cornered themselves into, then it'll be a damn good franchise and that'll be that, but if they continue for a seventh or eighth film, they'll drive themselves into a canyon off of a bridge and wait for the cars to explode while everyone's dangling in mid-air. Of course, Fast Five also proves that's possible in the film's world, so we'll see. It honestly could go either way, seeing as how neither logic nor physics play much of a part in the world of these characters.

5 Things Employers Crave In Your Thank You Note After The Interview

Sending a thank you note after an interview is one of those things that a lot of college students assume is akin to asking a one-night stand for their phone number-a meaningless transfer of information that no one takes seriously. You better check that assumption because this could be the one thing that sets you apart from the other guy or gal.
Check and make sure your thank you note after the interview includes the 5 following points:
1. Performance and Specific Results
Take this time to reiterate the strengths you communicated in the interview, especially focusing on specifics. In the interview you should have talked about how you delivered value to companies you worked for in the past, and ideally, you did this in a way that was quantifiable.
Now that you've gone home, believe it or not, the prospective employers didn't shut down the office, call off the rest of the interviews, and call it a day at the office on account of coming across the best damn candidate ever. Not at all. They likely waded through more interviews, left the office wishing they never had to do it again, drank a few beers at the local pub, and went home to argue with their spouse.
Too make a short story long, they probably don't remember a word you said. That might be little cynical (you think), but it certainly doesn't hurt to highlight your key selling points once again and remind them though sending a thank you note after interview.
2. Energy and Enthusiasm
Let's try not to write a letter that says in tone but not in words, "Hey, I'm bored off my ass but felt obligated to thank you blah blah blah." You want to seem enthusiastic and energetic about the letter and come across high energy. Don't scribble stars and flowers all over it either, but show some enthusiasm.
3. Personality
What often stands out the most social situations like job interviews is not a person's credentials and work history but their personality. In the end, getting hired is about creating attraction.
I don't mean the "let's just get this over with in the broom closet" kind of attraction, but the natural attraction that a charismatic person creates in the people around them. The best thing you can do in an interview is have a personality that stands out, and your thank you note after interview needs to be consistent with this same personality.
4. Interest in the Position
As always, it's best if the employer feels like you aren't just applying because you needed a job. As unfair as it is to you that you have to wade through all these different interviews and sell yourself to the different companies, your odds are best if you express real interest in each one. This comes a lot easier if you only pick positions you are actually interested in...imagine that.
Communicate this yet again in the thank you note after interview. Reconfirm your strong interest in not only the position but the company and industry as a whole. Show that you are ready to commit, even if you've been running from that same promise in the dating arena all through college.
5. Your Value to the Company
Okay, so you've gone over how you've been directly valuable for other companies in the past. You've reconfirmed your interest in an energetic, enthusiastic manner reminiscent of the personality you expressed in the interview. Now it's time to get down to what really matters-what's in it for them.
Express directly how you will use your strengths to benefit their company, preferably in a quantifiable manner. Because at the end of the day, if you don't look like dollars, you don't make sense.
What you should have gotten from these 5 points is that the thank you note after interview is not just about saying thanks, although you absolutely need to express gratitude for the time and energy invested in being given the opportunity, but it is also about reminding them of all the best things about you that you wanted to express in the interview.

All swimsuits by a factor of punch, sexy or hot babes roaming the beaches of miniature costumes (which they reveal more hidden links). But the port stuff is not cup of tea for all. It is not always in body size, which most of the questions as you slip into a bathing suit is a quotient of comfort you opened the door to all areas such as the beach. If someone is not well, especially in a swimsuit she shows in body language and facial expressions as well.

However, if you are a baby into the water, then it is not necessary to carry small things. The markets have a variety of ways, and that in different color schemes for every taste style. Women can go either swimwear swimsuits camouflage or leg, covering the entire body is covered and a lot of shame attached to it. These are essentially concealing costumes that cover the body from neck to ankles. Above the normal body-water departure, while the bottom has drawers in dark shades continue to make themselves thinner.

So what if you can not wear two-piece bikini like Halle Berry or Jenniffer Aniston, at least you can have all the fun in the water.
